FEATURED ALUMNI - Maniini (Musical Artiste)




Maniini, known in real life as Nikoi Emmanuel is a fast rising Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter. Born in Osu but raised in lapaz, he is the first of the three children of his parents. He is sometimes referred to as Maniini da mayor because of his ambition to be the Mayor of Accra in the near future. 

Maniini completed Junior High School at Cam's J. H. S located at Lapaz and continued to Accra Academy to study General Arts. Upon completion in 2011, he furthered his education to the University of Ghana where he acquired a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Psychology. 

Maniini began to notice his musical talent when he was just nine years but hid it from friends and family till he was fourteen years, at which time he was in Accra Academy. There, he formed a musical group named EMcees with some of his colleagues. They recorded a few songs and performed on several stages outside the school and also on entertainment shows in the school.

Maniini started his professional career in 2017 with his debut single 'Nkunim' which got lots of endorsements from music lovers in the country. OG blacktee, also a bleoobi produced the song and featured on it as well. 

Since then, Maniini has gone on to release five more singles and has continued to enjoy a growing fan base. His two latest songs; ‘Saw me’ and ‘Just beginning’ are also gradually getting some airplay on local radio stations. 

He believes his name is going to be a household name in no time because of his good songs and is asking for support from all people who love good music.

AAOBA Organizes Bleoo Connect Career and Business Networking Event

The Accra Academy Old Boys’ Association (AAOBA) held its maiden career and business networking event under the theme, “Developing Careers, Building Businesses” on Saturday 28th July 2018 at the Accra Academy.
